Precision Nikken rotary tables ensure rigid positioning and unmatched repeatability, while the heavy-duty 5.7-inch (145 mm) spindle cartridge features dual 70 mm bearings for maximum stability. The high-speed spindle operates from 50 to 8,000 rpm (optional 12,000 rpm) for optimum surface finishes across aluminum, cast iron, and compacted graphite materials. With 1000 ipm rapid traverse speed and a robust 24/15 HP (18/11 kW) spindle motor, the V40/50HP maintains cutting consistency through the most challenging porting cycles.
RMC’s proprietary digitizing and probing technology powered by Verisurf 3D Measurement Solutions enables precise data capture and exact reproduction of expertly ported heads. The integrated digital probe automates coordinate measurement, eliminating manual gauging while improving repeatability and throughput. Combined with RMC’s advanced software suite, engineers can digitize, modify, and machine complex port profiles with unparalleled accuracy.
The standard 24-position automatic tool changer, with an optional 32-position upgrade, allows continuous operation with minimal operator intervention.
